I have the IT Consultant theme. I don’t like the slider that is included with the theme because it doesn’t go across the whole page. The theme says I can use any slider plugin I want. I installed the Soliloquy image slider and set it up. I copied the short code and pasted it into the box that says “Use any slider shortcode”. When I did that – the native slider images disappeared, but the Soliloquy slider is not showing – so now I have no slider at all. I don’t know if this is a compatibility issue, and if it is, I would like to know which plugins are compatible (the documentation I believe said I could use any slider). Otherwise, what am I missing?

Hi Eddie,

Fix 1: You can use Jetpack but some of the modules of it are conflicting. So check which ones.
Fix 2: Yes you can but check my first answer.
Fix 3: This has nothing to do with theme. So not sure.
Fix 4: No idea again not something a theme developer is supposed to know.
Fix 5: Not a spam only admin can create private pages.
Fix 6: Antispam plugins are there use them. Antispam plugin from WordPress.org/plugins
Fix 7: Shortcodes do work.
Fix 8: You can use any separate plugin for the same.
Fix 9: Okay then use it but check which ones are conflicting.

FIX 1 – why I can’t use jetpack ??? ( you turn off again ) I lost auto share on social media and other benefits of jetpack. I like to have that.

FIX 2 – Can I turn jetpack back on ????

FIX 3 – is password recovery and reset working ???? Once I click on “lost your password” is just bringing me to store page, and it should bring to a page where i can reset or recovery my password.

FIX 4 – at comments is showing I have 10 comments. Why is not letting me delete ? I don’t allow any comments other then Facebook comments, why I have that ??? Is that any kind of spam or backlinks, if so I like to sure remove that

FIX 5 – at pages is showing 1 private page. What is that ? Who created that ? I don’t remember to have created any private page. Is that any kind of spam or backlinks, if so I like to sure remove that

FIX 6 – every day I have to delete over 40 user spam creations. Why ? How can I prevent fake users ?

FIX 7 – shortcuts on section Sponsors not showing now. I like to be able to use shortcodes on sections.

Hi, I built a website using your skt-music-pro theme as a subdomain wgile doing it. Then I moved it to the real domain and followed all the necessary guidelines to change the domain name and permalinks. However, all the permalinks attached to the theme options or theme customizer…in other words, image links, etc are not updating. Even the page links won’t update when I change permalinks setup in settings. I keep refreshing, I have even followed the steps to do it in PHPMyAdmin.

I try to change the permakinks back to their postname and I get a server error message that says
“Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at [email protected] to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

I own the server, I own the domains, I am the IT/webmaster. so, now, I turn to you. I have never had these issues with any other wordpress sites on my server. This is definitely a theme issue. Especially since the pages work when I leave them as their pageID format. Even though I named them originally.

Same thing with images that are through your theme’s photogallery. the permalinks won’t update to point to the new website/wp-content/uploads… it keeps pointing to the old one which I deleted.

Example… I had to manually fix the header image, page banner, and started on my sponsors album but I shouldn’t have to manually do this for each. so this is the correct link structure:
