I’m using the construction-pro theme. I put the shortcode [contactform to_email=”[email protected]” title=”Contact Form”] into a text widget in the main sidebar area but it does not work. I tried other shortcodes but no shortcodes work in a text widget.

No, I have not done anything with shortcode.

Somehow column code is messed here.

In the first column code itself we see all the rest 3 are coming and not separately as should be the case.

Did you place any div etc or html code with the shortcode?

Hi Nader,

If you want to use contact form 7 then kindly install the plugin and use the shortcode given by contact form 7. You can paste the shortcode in the pages as well as widgets.

Hi!

I tried to create a photogallery and separate photos by different categories, but when I added the shortcode [portfolio-thumbnail cat=”category”] with ANY name in the category (or even without names), it shows up ALL the images that have any category. Can you please check this? The theme is SKT Full Width Pro.
The website is “soubigell.com”

I know this subject has been on the forum earlier but the solution is not shown.

I want to use the contact form that goes with the shortcode here:
[contactform to_email=”Your email address” title=”Contact form title”]

Which I have put in underneath a different contact form on this page of my site

But I want to customize the fields to match the fields in the form above it. I made a different support query (#22565), which I received a reply to (#22607), but the direction I was given to “go to pages>edit the contact page and then select form right hand side under page attributes contact template and save.” did not align with choices I saw in my page attributes menu, which I listed in (#22641). The only things I can see in page attributes are: Default Template, Blog-Full Width, Blog-Left Sidebar, Blog-No Sidebar, Blog-Right Sidebar, Full Width, Gallery, Left Sidebar, No Sidebar.

If I had already set up a “Contact” page using the Free version prior to upgrading to Pro, is it possible that the old page overwrote the form template code?

Where can I locate the form template in the .zip files from the Pro download?
Once located, is there a way to individually reinstall that component?

Or, is another option to trash or rename the contact page currently existing in the project, then reinstall the theme?

Or, can you send me the code to paste into the “text” editor of the page?

Everything else has been great, and I am overall very happy with the PRO theme upgrade.

You can use a different plugin for social icons then in case you don’t want our shortcode.

Find any suitable plugin in WordPress.org/plugins which suits your requirement of icons.

Hi,

Kindly go to pages>edit any page and select under page attributes template: Full Width or left sidebar or default (which has right sidebar) for layout options.

Now for the sidebar contact form kindly go to appearance>widgets>main sidebar drag and drop a contact form shortcode and it should replace our contact form and show yours.

Not sure why it won’t work send us URL of the site and WordPress admin details if not working via sktthemes.net/contact

And then check column shortcodes 2, 3, 4 and 5 column shortcodes are given.

You can use them directly on a page.

Hi,
I recently bought the pro version of the SKT Yoga theme and I love it! There are just a few things that I cannot seem to figure out on my own.

On the contact page, there is a theme contact form in the left sidebar. I want to use my contact form in it’s place. I have played around with pages>edit contact page>select from under page attributes full width template, and I used the shortcode to add the form to the page. This resulted in a full width contact form, not really what I need.

I also played around with adding the form to the appearances -> widgets -> add contact form, but that did not do anything either.

What else can I try?

Another thing I’d like to change on the contact form side bar is the testimonials. I would like to replace this with another widget, like the blog categories widget.

And my last question when it comes to sidebars, how do I add side bars to the other pages?

Kindly use a 4 column shortcode.

Hi,

Kindly go to pages>edit the contact page and then select form right hand side under page attributes contact template and save.

Now kindly go to Appearance>theme options>shortcodes and check the shortcode of contact form for using it on that page.

Hi Eric,

Yes but its a bit tedious process. Kindly check the source code for the div based html code of sections.

Copy them and paste them into other pages.

Similarly if sections are coming from shortcodes all you got to do is copy and paste those shortcodes again.

Testimonials and team and gallery though will show the same content everywhere.

Column shortcodes you can use to have different content on each page.

We also recommended you using shortcodes ultimate which is a great shortcodes plugin to add content in a way you want it.

Hi,

Do not use shortcode of our form in pages to avoid using it. In case its appearing on sidebar you know sidebar is widgetized so you can use contact form 7 widget in sidebar to replace our form.
