Hi!

I tried to create a photogallery and separate photos by different categories, but when I added the shortcode [portfolio-thumbnail cat=”category”] with ANY name in the category (or even without names), it shows up ALL the images that have any category. Can you please check this? The theme is SKT Full Width Pro.
The website is “soubigell.com”

I know this subject has been on the forum earlier but the solution is not shown.

By the way on the site when going to the two pages with the photo galleries the following is mentioned below the photos “Sorry, portfolio is empty.”

Yes this is correct you are supposed to mention the name of the category and not Any.

Any is not a category name. So the behaviour and working is correct.

I have mentioned the correct category name. I have two categories:
1) HUIS
2) OMGEVING
have mentioned only these category names in the short code but all pictures are shown on both pages

Note that category name and slug must be same. Because of the category name and slug are different on your website the gallery not visible.

Hi Dave,
Issue is partly solved. On both pages I have two ways to see the photos. One way I have the photos in thum and in that case still all photos of both categories and below just the photo of the correct category. However then the size of the photos is not adjusted. I would like to see them only in the thumb way.
How to solve this issue?? Thanks Peter

I have the same problem. In my photo gallery I have created five category: “matrimoniale”, “terrazza” etc. Category names and relative slungs are the same. The theme is SKT_hotel. Still the shortcode [portfolio cat="matrimoniale"] loads all images, also those with other category.

Can you explain me how to solve? Thanks

Hi,

The gallery in Hotel theme doesn’t have category wise showcase option all it can do is show the filter on top or else not show it (shortcode is given in appearance>theme options>shortcodes).

In case you want to display different galleries as per categories best choice is Nextgen Gallery plugin.
