I’ve tried all different types of header images, but the theme forces me to crop it to 1440. I’m using a 1680 monitor, so the website is wider than what it is forcing my header to be. I either need to be able to add a wider header image, or change the color to match the site background. It is black and nowhere in my theme do I have black entered as a color.

I, too, would like to know how to change the grey bar behind the menu. Either remove it or change the color to match.

Despite the theme is from a company that mainly uses other language than Korean,
I decided to purchase the theme because it looked very good.
However I am having several problems, and I would be so grateful if I can get some help.

I am sorry to tell you that I am yet under developing procedure, so that I cannot give
you my web address. Sorry about that. Instead, I would post the code.

I am bothered by mainly two problems.

First, I want to modify the view for original and responsive mode of my website.
To specify, I want to
a – original web view) move the menu bar to the left, only leaving small space.
b – responsive view) move it to the top and making the width fully-matched to the screen.

Second, I want to modify the gallery(album) similar to that of Instagram’s appearance.
I hope I can post image-priority posts(that includes texts), and see those posts similar to Instagram’s format.

I would like to be informed if I have to purchase or install other plugins to enable this.

I went to Appearance>> theme options>> Basic settings. I modified the default colors (#fa5c5d) by another one (#e82027).

If you give a look at the home page (http://evansgirard.com)… go down to the Posts section… you’ll notice that the default theme’s color is still present on both sides of the dates (2016)… and the same thing goes for the three squares of the footer section (below the Posts section).

So, my questions:

1- Can it be fixed and how?

I asked myself what would happen if I go to Appearance>> Editor and modify the Theme. Will my modifications be “erased” by a future template upgrade?

Two different logo images might be quite difficult but you can change the background color for tablets and phones. Kindly show us your website URL so that we can give you CSS instruction on this.

Is it possible to have two different logo images?

When working on the desktop our white logo is on top of an image, when you switch to tablet or phone the logo is on a light grey background. The white logo looks good when on top of the image, but when switched gets lost in the light grey background.

So I have two logos, a white one and dark grey one. White one for desktops and grey one for tablets and phones.

If this is not possible, can I change the background color for tablets and phones for the logo area?

Well, I’d rather would had not so many support questions and I think I pointed you to some problems coming from your theme to improve your work. I’m thankful for your help with the other site, that had many problems with color changes and it’s responsivity, text gaps, pictute overlapping and so on, all standards that should work out of the box, but they didn’t.

Now, there is another topic that does not seem to work, as you are supporting qTranslate-X and I wonder how to get rid of those language tags.

Btw: I can’t figure out how to buy another theme license for another entity.

User details can be changed on a later date. In case you aren’t comfortable sharing info with us then probably you can hire some developer because we don’t possibly know how you tried to change color and why the footer color didn’t change.

Brad, Cant recall a time where a moderator has scolded a user because they are looking for answers. I thought these forums were designed for us to get answers to questions – which is usually by searching for someone that had similar issues. But you did not put your answer in here so we cannot do that in this case. Kindly place answer in these posts so that we can all benefit and not have to wait for answers directly from you, which is what I have been doing.
With regard to the HUGE footer – not the wording I used – that was Caroline’s wording, so please don’t scold me for that too. I simply was interested in knowing how we can change it if we personally would like it to be a different size AND I have tried to change the color from black but it wont take so you must have some overriding code in your styles. Kindly answer that too please.
If I MUST post this in a new, separate post to satisfy you then pleas let me know and I will do so.
Not trying to be difficult, but after many hours of trying to figure this theme out – frustration level and satisfaction level are going in opposite directions.
