when i past the shortcode onto the page i also get the Wedding Events shortcode with some hardcoded event detail
how do i get rid of it

Hi,

1) Z-index problem. In one of the entries of the blog a video is embedded and it does not allow to see the submenu correctly. I think it’s a problem with the z-index but I have not been able to fix it. How can I fix this problem?

Answer:

Kindly go to Appearance >> Customize >> Basic >> Scroll down to find Custom CSS and paste there:

#content { z-index:1;}

2) Excerpt problem. In the last news of the home page the system takes as excerpt of the entries the first words. The system does not discard the shortcodes and that causes the excerpt not to be seen correctly. You can see it in the screenshot:

I’m currently working on the paid SKT Spectacles theme and 2 of the 3 Service Boxes stopped showing up in frontpage. I deleted and re-entered the [area row] shortcode and re-checked image URLs and I cannot seem to find the problem.

Hi,

I’ve posted before about using perfect blocks on my home page, but now the customer is requesting that the “read more” in the perfect blocks open in a new tab for the ones that link to an external site. I know how to do that normally, but is there a way to do that in the shortcode block? Tried target=”blank” in the shortcode, but nothing.

I see that this is two years old, but I am having trouble understanding this response. I am working with the SKT Church theme and looking at the newsletter. There is a shortcode to add it to the site, and I’m fine where it is in the section, but I can’t see how to connect this to any plugin. When someone enters the information and they click sign up it takes them to a 404 page.

How can this be connected to a newsletter plugin or even a way to obtain the information from the entries. The shortcode doesn’t allow for any customization for the “on click” factor.

I am using the healing touch pro theme.

The our team page on my website isn’t functioning correctly. I have placed the shortcode on the page [ourteam] and it displays 4 members on the first row and the next 4 are split across two rows.

I want 4 members on each line

When I go to ‘customize theme’ and see the preview of the page, the social icons in the footer show up fine:

However, when I go to the published site in Mac Chrome 65.0.3325.162, boxes are showing:

I am not refering to those first four boxes on the section page!

As described above I am using the [features] shortcode to individually display some boxes in one of the 7 sections. And I can’t find any solutuion where I can rename the “Read more” button. I guess it must be embedded in the coding of the [features] shortcode functionality.

Hi Alex,

Yes you can use Contact Form 7 plugin, kindly replace default contact form shortcode with Contact Form 7 shortcode. To replace sidebar contact form kindly drag/drop a text widget in sidebar and paste Contact Form 7 shortcode there.
