I have added images and then assigned them in to categories. In the shortcode section i can place the following [portfolio cat=”Category Name”] into a full width page and change “Category Name” with the “Birthday Cakes”. However when the page loads, it loads all images within the gallery and not the birthday cakes on their own. I have tried using the category name (case sensitive) as well as category slug but still not getting the correct results.
Shortcodes are read only. They are supposed to be used just as they are. Not sure why you would want to edit them. In case you understand how to build shortcodes you can create your own.
Or else try plugins like shortcodes ultimate which has more shortcodes however those are also not editable but can be used as they are.
Kindly add contact form 7 plugin instead then kindly go to Appearance>Widgets>Primary sidebar and add any widget like text widget and then add plugin shortcode within it.
So basically instead of our form now your contact form 7 widget form will show up which should send email.
I’m trying to put in the contact form short code
“[contactform to_email=”[email protected]” title=”Contact Form”]”
into the right hand widget bar on a blog post. I assumed I could create a Text widget (within in Appearance > Widgets) and insert the shortcode, but it didn’t work. Is there any other way to do this. and make it work?
In section 1 Content you will find the accordion shortcode
[accordion_content title="dr eleifend ligula"][doctors name="dr eleifend ligula" photo="IMAGE LINK HERE" experience="10 years experience"]Proin mollis vitae nunc in faucibus and. Vestibulum in pellentesque mauris by. Donec ac ligula elit.[/doctors]
[/accordion_content]
Kindly check now. Background is white for all accordion tab. You can change remove “name” and “experience” words from the shortcode and also change the background image for particular accordion tab.
can you please recommend a plugin that should work?
tried different ones and nothing seems to work properly. Guessing there might be a problem with the shortcodes from the theme… is that possible?
I’m laying out a Contact page for a client, and we want to put the contact info to the left of the page, and a Google map to the right. I tried employing the column shortcode in order to do this, but for some reason the map does not display inside the column shortcode. The shortcode displays as text.
I’ve tried two different map plugins (WP Google Maps and Cope People Google Maps) and gotten the same result. Both maps display fine on the pages, but when I put the map shortcode inside the column shortcode, the map breaks.
Any ideas on how I can fix this? Thanks again!
