    Hi Dave,

I have just reviewed the documentation as directed. However, there is no “Header” section under the Appearance>Customize>Header

    What I have listed under Customize are the following;
    – Site Identity
    – Colours
    – Header Image
    – Background Image
    – Menus
    – Widgets
    – Homepage Settings
    – Additional CSS

I have also gone into each sections without finding any for Header or the Header sections. Under Site Identity, I was able to find the Site Title and Tagline. Under Widgets, I was able to see Header Widget left and Header Widget Right but when clicked nothing is listed not even the default one in use.

Is there something i’m missing here?

    Bryan

    Hi Chris

    I selected Header 2
then added the cart by drag n drop to
    header top bar right widget

    and nothing appears.
I tried to “Manage With Live Preview” but get this message
Your theme has 8 widget areas, but this particular page doesn’t display them.
You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customiser to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.”

I can’t get the Cart ICON to appear on any page.

    Chris,
On the Free version, in the Customize section, there are areas you can turn on or off.
    Header Image >
    Background Image >
    Menus >
    Widgets >
    Homepage Settings >
    Slider Settings >
    Header Information >
    Home Section One >
    Home Section Two >
    Home Section Three >
    Home Section Four >
    Home Section Five >

    Social Settings >
    Footer Info Area >
    Additional CSS >

In the Pro version that I upgraded to, I am unable to find the Home Sections that Ive placed in bold above. These included things like services, etc. Where do I find those on the Pro Version. Ive changed the theme to “Your Latest Post” but it does not show those areas when that is selected.

Working on a website on a temporary domain:
    http://hostrat.com/project2/index.php/contact-us/

Its early stage of design and its already giving me issues with sidebar, widget, WPForms.
I created a GET A QUOTE FORM in WPForms and added it to the widget sidebar. I also created a CONTACT US FORM and added it to a page.

AS you can see in the link, the WPForms works well in the page, BUT it does not work in the SIDEBAR. The FORM labels are not showing up in form and the DROPDOWN field is showing only 1/2 the word.

    PLEASE HELP

    Context:

My testimonials were originally set in plain text on their own designated page. The permalink for this page is simply website/testimonials

When activating the Handy theme, the testimonial page had the following discrepancies:

    • The page text content did not show on the page (despite being visible in the WordPress text editor)
    • The page title, that normally is the same as the title displayed in the text editor, now says ‘Archives’ instead. This ‘Archives’ title cannot be removed or changed from the text editor (and does not show in the text editor)
    • The page’s sidebar is now populated with ‘Categories’ and ‘Archives’ that cannot be removed by changing the page template (tried them all – the testimonial page layout does not respond to any of them)

It seems that the theme’s testimonial tool *may have* automatically classified this page as a blog, despite there being no blog set up on the site.

Re: the testimonial text (still seen in the text editor) not showing on the page.

Once I added testimonials into the theme’s designated testimonial tool, these testimonials were automatically relayed onto the testimonial page – no short codes were needed.

Question: is there any way to turn this automatic integration off, if I wanted this testimonial page to be a regular page again?

Re: The page title being ‘Archives’ instead of the title displayed in the text editor

This page is definitely a page, not a post (there are no posts on this website).

Question: how can I edit the title for this page so that it doesn’t appear as ‘Archives’?

Re: ‘Categories’ and ‘Archives’ sidebar content

This can partially be resolved by adding a text widget into the ‘Blog sidebar’ category – despite this being a main page, not a blog.

Question: How do I get the theme to stop regarding this page as a blog?
Question: How can I get the layout of this page so that it responds to the text editor’s layout (like the page templates, for instance)?
