Hi,

I’ve been trying to add a background image or background colour to a sidebar text widget via custom CSS but NOTHING I do seems to have any effect. Interestingly, I can’t even seem to make experimental changes using “inspect code” function on the page. Can you please provide the correct CSS code as I’d like to be able cusotmise my widgets. I’m using SKT Restaurant Pro theme.

Fair enough, my bad…
I’ve solved it by allowing shortcodes in widgets by adding a line in functions.php

add_filter('widget_text','do_shortcode');

Hi,

You are not supposed to paste shortcode of multiple language within file but you are supposed to add it in widget.

Please check tutorials of qTranslate X for this.

You have added translation icon on header widget hence the contact info doesn’t appears on header.

Basically by using the page template “Left Sidebar” for that page the “sidebar.php” page has a php script:

Hello, I’m using the restaurant theme and I’m trying to add translations lines with qTranslate tags (e.g. [:en]) in the sidebar.php file to modify the opening hours widget.
Not being proficient in php I’m struggling to have it working as php just prints out everything, including qTranslate tags.
How can I solve it please?

Hello,

I have a few formatting questions about Movers Pro.

1. The “Email Us” logo in my header is below the envelope icon, rather than beside it like the phone and address logo are, is there a way to change this?
2. Can the “Pages” links be centred on the page?
3. I wanted to put a Privacy Policy on the site, but I don’t need it as a page link, can it be moved to only appear at the bottom? I’d like to do a similar thing with the “Questions and Inquiries” page.
4. Can the address, call us, and email us widgets below the welcome photos be changed from the blue it is, to #d1a700?

Hi Barry,

You can add logo via footer.php or you can put logo <img src="#"> in any footer widget.

drag and drop text widget in sidebar main to remove default widgets. for the form kindly use plugin contact form 7 and use their shortcode in sidebar main widget.

For the slider height and inner page banner:

Kindly go to Appearance>>Theme Option>>Basic Setting>>Custom CSS Box

Add this code there:

.innerbanner{height:200px !important;}
.nivoSlider{height:300px !important;}

I understand that the newsletter signup and associated text is managed through downloading the newsletter plug-in. However, when I do that, and then add it to the Footer widget, my social icons disappear. I would like to retain them. How do I do this please? And the actual creation of a newsletter…where are those options?

Hi,
I would like to take away one widget/colume (widget-column-2) and only use 3 colums over the 100%.

I have try to “comment-out” the section widget-column-2 in footer.php but it dident work.

If I add a empty text widget its disssapear, but I do not want to have this empty area
