I understand that the newsletter signup and associated text is managed through downloading the newsletter plug-in. However, when I do that, and then add it to the Footer widget, my social icons disappear. I would like to retain them. How do I do this please? And the actual creation of a newsletter…where are those options?
Thank you!
I just discovered a solution for newsletter creation, I had not seen the plug-in customization. That problem is solved.
CUrious still about the disappearance of the social icons (I have used the social icon widget but it is not displaying or have any option for the icons that act as links to the social media outlets). I hope to have the look of the default Charity social icons immediately beneath the newsletter sign up area. Thanks!
Hi Scott,
Kindly show us your website URL.

Brad
Yes it is www.digitalmediapsych.com
Thanks!
So the challenge is the nice social icons that were in the footer widget before I installed the newsletter plug-in.
Hi Scott,
Kindly go to Appearance>>Theme Option>>Header and Footer
You will find the shortcode for social media icon. Then go to Appearance>>Widget>>Footer widget 3
Drag and drop text widget in footer widget 3 and paste the social media shortcode there.
Regards,
Brad
