In customizer you have to change all the details for the slider to take effect.
So change the image, title, description, link etc for all slides even if it means again re-inserting same thing (copy paste should do) and then save. It should work just fine.

ShriI means copy the site on a sub domain which can act like a test server for you to set up the theme properly on that and then once done you can replace the original site with the new sub domain site.

Kindly use page template full wide in pages>edit>right sidebar under page attributes>select full width template to have no sidebar. Or else go to appearance>widgets and then add some widget in page sidebar area to get rid of the default widget and instead show what you add there.

All the footer areas are widget friendly and one can use from appearance>widgets>footer widget 1.
Drag and drop any text widget or any other HTML widget as you wish and add content as per your liking.

ShriAhh okay kindly go to documentation of the theme and check shortcodes area to have 3 column shortcodes and use them to have brands section with 3 images and text and have read more as well to link to individual pages.
Your site shows a red mark when tried to visit saying its dangerous and deceptive.
So i can’t see your website.
