How to customise theme for blog posts

Hi,

Please can you tell me how to make the layout of my blog post pages full width so there are no side bars and also I would like to make the background colour of the blog posts white and not the background colour I have selected in the theme for the rest of the websites pages. I would also like to have the text black and not the text colour in the theme of the rest of the pages and ideally be able to have a different font and size for the text in these posts – is this possible and which font category is used for the blog post text.

Also, If the text is black and the background white I will need to make the link text another colour as its currently white in the theme, if this could be changed also that would be great, many tahnks.

Hi,

Kindly go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Basic Settings >> Custom CSS Box:

Add this code there:

body.custom-background { background-color: #fff !important;}
a { color: #00b7c4;}

That makes all the pages on the site white; is there a way to just change the format of the blog posts and not the pages?

Thats great thank you. Please can you let me know what settings I need to alter to change the font size of the text in the blog post as its too big currently and also, can it be a full page layout so that the admin and meta on the RHS is not there?

Thank you, its looking loads better… just 2 things – there is a portion of text in the middle that is the wrong size for some reason – do you know why this is? Also, please can you confirm if the text is now all justified?
