Okay step by step instructions for photo gallery:

1. First Go to WordPress admin panel and then Click on Photo Galleryhttp://sktthemesdemo.net/documentation/skt-white-doc/assets/img/portfolio.jpg

And then Click on Add New.

2. Once clicked on Add New Add the title and then just set up a featured image just like shown here: http://sktthemesdemo.net/documentation/skt-white-doc/assets/img/portfolio.jpg (don’t add anything in description area)

Once done select any category or add any category from the category area in this very page. And click on Update.

3. To add another image again click add new and follow the first 2 steps as given above.

So for every new image title and 1 featured image is to be added and it is to be selected into any category you wish.

Given you re-access to the theme till 30th April. Kindly download the theme from here:
sktthemes.net/my-account (use forgot password in case you forgot)

Theme Instructions after download:

Kindly visit Appearance>Themes>Activate some other theme for the time being.

Then click on old Pro theme and delete it. Don’t worry deleting the theme doesn’t delete its settings at all.

Then visit Appearance>Themes>Add New and upload the zip you just downloaded of the new theme.

And Activate.

That’s it. Hope you enjoy the updated latest theme.

So on my first Slider page in SKT White, I want to add my company’s logo, rather than the basic text the theme offers. Is there a way to do this? If so, please let me know.

The average load time of the demo theme is 24 seconds when we tested it on multiple platforms and internet providers. The fastest load was 16 seconds, but we couldn’t replicate that even with the same combination of device, browser, and provider. I’ve gone through the support section here and clicked on several of the sites where others are using this theme. One loaded in 12 seconds, and the rest were all 16 seconds or longer. Our host streamlined everything they can on settings as indicated above (plus some), and we still can’t get better than 16 seconds with the demo. Once we make any changes such as different images or additional content, it takes even longer. The host looked at the theme code and said it needs lots of work. They also said the images that come with the package need work (CSS Sprites would help with things like the social icons and other images).

We ran GTmetrix on the demo. It came back at 27 seconds load time, 2.27MB, and 100 requests. I ran it on another site on the same server with a different WP theme. Came back at 1.34 seconds, 774 KB, and 44 requests. I ran it again on some of the other SKT White sites from this support section. All come back with terrible load times and too many requests regardless of the amount of content (ranged from the 2.27MB in the demo to 34 MB).

Do you have any other solutions? Although I love this theme, I’m going to have to request a refund and find something else if we can’t get a decent load time.

Use shortcodes of the gallery anywhere in any page:

hey guys, I was happy with the free version of this theme until I see the mobile version… So I bought this theme because SKT promised better mobile integration…

Ok… the front page is better… but the rest is very ugly… If the page has only text it’s ok but if I use the shortcodes as one_half… one_third and others the result is this:

We don’t have 4 widgets in footer but only 3 widgets.

Also sample theme doesn’t show featured image for recent posts in footer. You may choose not to use the default one and remove it by adding your own widget in Appearance>Widgets>Widget 2.
