We are putting together a world class team of talented WordPress engineers to help us out.
The person appointed will directly report to the director of Amp.build’s Art Director.
This job will require a minimum commitment of 16-24 hour per week.
We are thinking of a container initially but will convert to a full time position depending on the capability and expertise of the person.
We are taking this up so initially there will be a lot of clean up work to do and later on everything should fall in order.
Thereafter it will be building out new site, new sections and new features and ongoing maintenance.
WordPress knowledge and API knowledge of at least 2+ years.
PHP knowledge of at least 2+ years.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS.
Comfortable working with Database.
Experience working with CLI.
Responsive web development (RWD) knowledge.
Know best coding practices of PHP, HTML, CSS and Codex WordPress standards.
Bonus if you know:
Built or managed a plugin
Knowing integration of 3rd party APIs directly into WordPress website
Experience working on Pagely’s hosting platform.
Total mobile responsive revamp.
Cleaning up HTML/CSS.
Keeping WP Core and Plugins up to date.
Converting theme from using Beaver builder to custom HTML/CSS and Post types whenever required.
Developing a blog section.
Migrating blog from various WP instance over to main websites instance.
