Use 1 category for the home page gallery

Hi,
I have 2 categories of photo gallery but I only want to display one on the home page.
can I modify the shortcode to say which category to load?

Can I add a 2nd question about this theme:
It says on the theme page that it comes Loaded with 580+ font based icons for social icons and other icons, how can you see these? Is there a directory of these icons?

The website is in maintenance mode so you have to be logged in to see it. I just want to know where I can see all the icons that come with the theme?
