I am getting the following error message when using Ninja Forms:
TTypeError: jQuery(‘#slider’).nivoSlider is not a function. (In ‘jQuery(‘#slider’).nivoSlider’, ‘jQuery(‘#slider’).nivoSlider’ is undefined)
This error message does not appear when I change themes. So, it believe, the error is caused by the theme itself.
See an example here: https://www.almasshriners.org/home-page-2017/
I have tried deactivating all other plugins. The error persist, except with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/constant-contact-forms-by-mailmunch/
Deactivating this plugin reduces the number of instances for the error, but they still appear without this plugin.
March 6, 2017 at 1:38 am #64332Ninja Support looked at the error and reported the following:
Your [SKT Yogi Pro] theme is adding this section:
jQuery(‘#slider’).nivoSlider({
effect:’fade’, //sliceDown, sliceDownLeft, sliceUp, sliceUpLeft, sliceUpDown, sliceUpDownLeft, fold, fade, random, slideInRight, slideInLeft, boxRandom, boxRain, boxRainReverse, boxRainGrow, boxRainGrowReverse
animSpeed: 500,
pauseTime: 4000,
directionNav: true,
controlNav: false,
pauseOnHover: true,
});In the source, which is causing the issue. I don’t think it will prevent your form from loading for users; you are seeing the Admin notice because you are previewing the form while being logged-in as an Admin. Your users will see the site normally.
We will be scaling the admin notice back in Tuesday’s release.
