Hello,

Is there anyway to customize the text in the “Services Four Boxes” section? Right now it is just taking the first x amount of text from the page it links to, but I would like to just put in custom text. Specifically a phone number and address. Is this possible?

That link doesn’t show how to do what I’m looking for. I understand how to change the excerpt length, but it only takes the excerpt from the page the boxes link to. I would like to customize the text shown to be something other than the first few words from the page. Specifically I’m looking to make each box have some basic contact info. Is this achievable?

Hi,

I would like a custom excerpt box added to the pages of our site too.

At the moment, the entire text of each page is populated in the services boxes. I have changed the custom excerpt length but it doesn’t make a difference. It seems to be because we are using a page builder (Elemenator). When I choose a page that hasn’t been editing using elementor, we don’t have the problem.

Great if you can add in a custom excerpt text box for each page – that would solve the problem!

Hi,

Yes Elementor shortcodes won’t populate as excerpt. Also please do not bump into anyone else’s post as they get notification as well.
