    Hi there

    I wish to remove the ‘Read More’ Button on the Homepage Slider but I cannot find where to do this; I use WP and cannot see the Appearance>Editor option with my dashboard?! I have looked at the functions.php document and taken out the ‘Read More’ code, then copied and pasted this into the custom CSS but this hasn’t worked? Please advise ASAP!

    Hi David,

    You bought the theme on 18th April. So you should have the updated theme. You have to check Appearance>Theme Options>Slider settings.

    Within there in description area and underneath it you have the read more as well as the buttons i believe.

    If not still let us know.

    Regards,
    Shri

    Hi there

    The ‘read more’ is not within the settings, I’ve checked, there’s nothing there. I need this gone ASAP as we’re looking to launch the website shortly.

    Many thanks

    David

    Hi David,

    Kindly check Appearance>Theme Options>Custom CSS and paste this there: .read{display:none;}

    Hope this works fine.

    Shri

    Hi there,

    I have c&p-ed that code into my Custom CSS and it’s still showing on the website?! Please help haha!

    I’ve also noticed that some of the text on my website is coming through as blue, and I need this to be red – this can be seen on the homepage, on the contact us footer, and also on the contact us call-to-action button on the contact form.

    Seen here:

    And

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    Kindly add this in Appearance>Theme Options>Custom CSS:

    .phone-no strong {color: #000000;} Change the color hex-code to desired one.

    For button of contact form add this into custom css:

    .wpcf7 form input[type=”submit”], .main-form-area input[type=”submit”] {background-color: #000000;}

    Regards,
    Shri

    Any luck getting the “read more” text to go away? I can’t get it to go away on my first 3 slides. I’ve tried using the code posted above.

    Hi Adam,

    Kindly check Appearance>Editor>header.php

    Search for read more. And remove only the text read more &raquo

    Should be good. Let us know if that worked fine for you.

    Regards,

    Shri
