Kindly go to appearance->Theme Option->Custom CSS Box:
Paste this css code:
.header .header-inner .logo img {max-height:none;}

Within basic settings area you have the Custom CSS box there you have to paste this.

I followed you instructions. In the basic setting area, like I mentioned before, I pasted the code into the CUSTOM CSS box. The logo is still small.

Add this code there:

.header .header-inner .logo{margin-top:0 !important; margin-bottom:0 !important; width:42%;}
.header .header-inner .logo img{height:auto !important;}
