    It doesn’t matter how I crop the photos. The Photo Gallery uses some random cropping algorithm. SOME of the photos display oblong, while SOME are cropped square. There are no instructions in the documentation to tell you what dimensions the photos should be in order to get them right. The display SHOULDN’T depend on the dimensions of the photos anyway. They should just arrange themselves automatically for best effect.

    The Our Team display uses some random ordering algorithm. They display one way in Elementor and another on the page. I’ve used custom ordering plug-ins to no avail. I have added, deleted, and re-added photos, cropped and re-cropped, added and deleted team members… And again, the documentation does not specify that the photos need to be cropped SQUARE for the team members to display correctly.

    And in these support forums, they only say, “Give us your URL and admin access…” FIX the DAMNED THEMES! Don’t release them with these BUGS.

    Oh, and while we’re on the subject: WHY aren’t the styles encoded in the CSS??? WHY do I have to restyle every blessed component to match how they’re done in the demo? If you just use the HTML tags, it all looks COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. It defeats the WHOLE PURPOSE of installing a theme.

    If I hadn’t bought the whole lot, I’d never buy another theme, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend these themes to anyone. I won’t ever use them on another site. Horrid, HORRID experience…You guys really are a cartoon show. It’s like you’ve never actually built and maintained a website. TRY it with your own themes and see how much work it is.

    Hi,

    Kindly use this CSS to display gallery photo without cropping.

    .portfolio-content .portfolio-area li .image-block { max-height:inherit !important;}

    Regards,
    Dave

    OK. Does this look better to YOU?? They’re still all crushed into square format. This is not about “cropping,” but about forcing the images into square format WITHOUT WARNING in the documentation that your images must be CROPPED SQUARE to look good. It can’t accommodate any format other than 1:1.

    Honestly, how can you allow such buggy themes out into the wild without fair warning that you have to manipulate every minor detail with uber-specific, kludgy custom css?

    When our opera finishes its run on Sunday, I’ll have to rebuild the whole site with a theme that works.
