Insert a porfolio

Hello !

I don’t manage to find where I can define a portfolio category ? Do I need install a special plugin to my wordpress website ?

Hi,

There is a default portfolio and yes you can also use Nimble Portfolio from here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/nimble-portfolio/

I saw the default portfolio but if I choose it as a page style, the page is empty so here’s what I did :

Create a “wedding” gallery type ;
Create a gallery using the type “wedding” ;
Create an empty page using “portfolio” style ;
Insert shortcode [portfolio-thubnail cat=”wedding”] ;
Publish my page.

The page show the featured picture chosen when I created my gallery but there’s nowhere I can add pictures to my gallery.

I’ll try your nimble portfolio but I assumed there was a way to do without any plugins ?

Hi ! Nimble portfolio works but not as well as I wanted : the portfolio are correctly listed and sorted by theme on my page but, when I click on the picture above the link of the portfolio, a jQuery gallery appears and use the picture of each portfolio on the page. I would prefer a link to the portfolio item instead.

The solution proposed in the nimble documentation doesn’t work for me. I tried several other portfolio plugins but anyone does work… 🙁

Is there any other plugin that works with your theme ?
