HVAC Cleaning theme upgrade error

Hi, I’ve just tried to replace an old version of HVAC with the latest version (2023)

the upload and overwrite was successful but it corrupted the website

as this is a live site I had to revert to the old theme backup

Hi,

Is there any cache plugin so kindly clear cache it may be a cache issue, if it’s not resolved so old HVAC theme are working with themes options and new HVAC theme are in elementor and customizer based theme, if you replace with new version so your data will be removed from your site.

I wasnt sure what you meant by “if you replace with new version so your data will be removed from your site”?

does this mean I can not replace the new HVAC theme if the old theme was used? should i use another theme?

Hi,

Your old HVAC theme is theme options based, but updated HVAC theme is elemntor builder based theme, if you need to setup new HVAC theme so your old theme home page data are not automatically set in new HVAC theme. Here you have to set Header Slider, Home page section Content and Footer in new HVAC theme.
