HVAC CLEANING THEME — Mobile/responsive menu problems.

I recently purchased All Themes from you. The first one I’m trying to work with is the HVAC Cleaning theme. It’s going okay, but I need to find the control to change the color of the mobile menu bar, the responsive menu for phone browsers. I found the control for the menu bar color in Appearance –. Theme Options, but this only changes the color on the desktop view. I can find no control for the mobile menu/.

Hi,

Kindly go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Basic Settings >> Custom CSS Box:

Add this code there:

.toggle a { background-color:#b0b07c !important;}

Ahh, thank you. That worked well. I have another problem. If you refer to the same screenshot, you’ll see at top center of the header a foreign language character appears where a Facebook icon should be. Also, below there, next to the phone number, and next to the email address, foreign characters appear where corresponding phone and email icons should be. How can I correct this? This behavior occurs only when viewed in mobile browsers and not when viewed in a desktop browser, even when I resize the desktop browser to the dimensions of a phone.

I used the existing code you provided in Theme Options –> Header –> “Header Top Phone and Email” and “Add here Social icon for header top” areas, only modifying it for my needs and details.

Thank you for your reply. I have read that document thoroughly over the past two days and kind find no remedy within it for foreign characters appearing as in the mobile browser as is the case now. Can you point me to something specific that you see in that document, that I don’t see, that will help me?
