How to display header image on blog page?

This question is about “Adventure” theme (v6.0).

So far, we’ve been using various “Category” pages to display sub-sets of our posts.

I now want to set up a blog page that displays all posts (no matter which categories are assigned). Following the documentation on “https://www.sktthemesdemo.net/documentation/skt-elementor-doc/#set-up-blog-page” I’ve created a new page and selected “Blog No Sidebar” as a template.

The new page displays all posts (as intended), but the header (background picture and page title) that is shown on regular “Category” pages is missing.

How can I display the blog page with a header to make it look like a category page?

Hi,

Kindly go to Admin >> Settings >> Reading >> Posts page >> Don’t set blog page in “Posts page”.

Thanks for your reply, Dave.

When doing what you suggested the header image becomes visible (as intended), but the list of posts (from all categories) is gone. How can I get it back?

For the time being, I added the block “Post Grid” from Gutenberg “Essential Blocks” collection. This also looks nice, but different from what we know from the category pages that come with “Adventure” theme.

Kindly select “Blog Right Sidebar” Page template for showing the right side bar on blog page.

This is a misunderstanding: I don’t want the side bar. I want to see the actual posts…

Hi,

Remove Gutenberg “Essential Blocks” from this page and set blog page template as you want to set it’s look like the category page.
