Enlarging newspaper theme

Is there anyway to make the homepage of the newspaper theme wider so there is less of the background image showing?

You can see it at www.sbdailynews.com. As you’ll be able to see, the background image of the city is quite large and I was wondering if I’d be able to extend the content area out both sides so there is more room for content.

Kindly go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Basic Settings >> Custom CSS Box:

Add this code there:

#wrapper { width:1280px;}

Thank you. That worked great. Now that I have widened my site, my blog posts are still small. How do I get them to widen with the site?
