I’ve confirmed my smtp settings and it is valid but i’m not getting the form data at my target email. Is there something I need to do? Not sure if I missed anything.
I was having the same troubles earlier… I ended up creating an email with my domain and setting it up to forward to my real email. It avoids having to go through the smtp troubles.

No. It’s not working for me. I have defined a valid email address in the shortcode. I installed a plugin on my wp to make sure that mail is getting sent out through wp and that’s working. how can i confirm that the mail sending is firing from submitting the form?
Hmm. Can you kindly remove our code and use contact form 7 plugin instead. It should work fine.
The contact form 7 plugin works. Perhaps the theme short code needs to be upgraded for a fix.
Can you help me find what part of the code to remove in order to get the contact form 7 plugin to work properly?
@xinanne, I think there is some .php somewhere along the code that is interfering with cf7, but if we remove that it should work fine.
I simply switched out the shortcode
[contact_form to_email=”email@example.com” email_subject=”Contact inquiry”]
to the shortcode for contact form 7 like this:
[contact-form-7 id="49" title="Contact Us"]
after plugin was installed and setup.
