Do you have a child theme included in the pro themes? If NOT, what plugin do you recommend to work best with your easy customization? I can code…but using your customizer will save me a LOT of time.
June 29, 2015 at 6:43 am #8621I would recommend not doing a child theme and have the css in custom css area of Appearance>Basic Settings.
That way custom css is saved and customized using that so that even if theme is updated css changes remain intact.

ShriJune 29, 2015 at 10:02 pm #8660So if I used your customizer, does that mean when you update the theme al the customizations will be lost?
June 30, 2015 at 7:37 am #8674Whenever we update any theme all of its settings remains as they were saved. But php file changes if done can be lost.
CSS changes if done any should be done using Custom CSS box or plugin so it also remains saved.

February 24, 2016 at 2:21 pm #24079Bringing back an old topic. I’m adding a forum to my theme in my wordpress, so the custom css is where I would paste to add the login, logout, and register code rather than going to a child theme? Thanks for the clarity!
