Hello,
are you planning to publish any update on SKT Bakery PRO theme?
I notice there are many HTML errors and I want to make it WCAG compliant.
If you aren’t planning any update I will edit the theme files, otherwise I will try to use a child theme.

Will try but we are looking to launch a new theme by Jan 2016 hence it won’t be possible any sooner. Kindly make use of a child theme.

ShriI will try, but it is a little bit hard because theme functions are not pluggable. If you plan on updating this theme consider making the functions pluggable.

The Bakery Theme needs to be updated to allow child themes immediately. I’m in the process of using Bakery for a client and need to make changes to it via a child theme. What date can we expect this to be available?

Can’t you add custom css in Custom CSS box within theme options?

ShriYes, I used the Custom CSS, but if I really wanted to separate any code and style from the theme, it should allow a child theme to be created from it, which it doesn’t.
Also, I noticed the slider loads late and just pops in when it’s ready to display. Is there any way to have the whole page not show until the slider is ready? It looks bad when the page loads and there’s no slider, then a few seconds later it pops in.
New Bakery theme if you download shows a loader icon instead.

Dave, I’m unable to find the updated bakery theme. I downloaded the bakery-theme.zip from My Account area and and didn’t see an update. That one still shows as version “pro1.0” in the change_log.txt file in the zip.
Just a suggestion: if any of the themes we’ve purchased get updated, it would be nice to get an email notification of the update and a direct link to go get it.

Yes after launch of Complete theme which is going to be the best theme we launched till date we are going to have a theme updates page posted on our site with versions etc also taken care of.
