A pair of questions about Black and White theme

Hi,

I have a pair of questions about Black and White theme.

1) Menu items are in bold and green color when are “current items” but in home page the “BIENVENIDA” item appears in black color and light.
I put this code in custom css:
.current-menu-item { font-weight: bold!important; color: #008b86; }
and works for all other pages but not for home page.

2) Posts on home page. Date appears incorrectly. I would date was in D/M/Y format. How can I fix this?
