I’m setting up a website here: http://129.121.2.251/~cookschu/gallery/
and the gallery isn’t filtering out images based on category. It only works on the “All” section. The shortcode I’m using is: [photogallery filter=”true”]

Any help would be appreciated!

It is via coding and has to be done via custom-functions.php where the shortcode is mentioned.

So I just started out with WP, and purchased the Gravida Pro theme a day or so back, and I’m already running into something that has me foxed:

How do I constrain the teaser text that is shown in the featured blocks widgets on the front page?

Right now for my pages, I have something like:

<div>some brief blurb</div>

[some short code]...

The problem is that the shortcode text is showing in the featured blocks. I tried using the ‘<!– more –>’ thingy, but that just inserts “+ read more” as static unlickable text in the box.

Is there some simple separator I should be using in my page HTML to notify the blocks that where the teaser text ends?

Hello,

I purchased the Adventure theme, http://sktperfectdemo.com/demos/adventure/
I wonder if i can use my own arquitecture for the homepage, not the Home Sections one like you got by default on the theme, https://imgur.com/a/SdlRNiM Or don’t know if there is a shortcode to grab the homepage structure and build my own on top of that with a builder like Visual Composer / Gutenberg, also is the theme compatible with this builder plugins, cause i like to have a flexible arquitecture, not depend so much on yours.

Also is the theme compatible with Revolution Slider, cause the default slider is quite limited (good slider but limited on some stuff), also i would like to use it mainly on the homepage instead of the default slider.

Also is it possible to add on the menu at the header search functionality with the search icon of course and also add the Woocommerce cart icon at the menu, cause dont see i cant such functionality for the menu.

The social area shortcode seems to have failed. Please look at my front page and contact pages. Not sure what is wrong.
The problem is affecting all placements of social icons and is not isolated to just one areas or page. Please send me an email where I can send you login info.

Hi:
I purchased the SKYClean PRO theme and find that the sidebar choices are somewhat limited.
I have tried using several ‘custom sidebar’ widgets on the theme so I could being unique graphics to each page using the right sidebar.

I have tried “Easy Custom Sidebars” and “Custom Sidebars – Dynamic Widget Area Manager ” … neither worked.

Is there a plugin that you recommend? I also tried using the “Columns” function in Shortcode Deluxe without suggess.

Where you see the right sidebar is where I want to be able to ccreate a sidebar and show a different image for saveral pages. The theme only allows me to show only one (1) Sidebar which is Sidebar Main. Hope that makes sense. Welcome your suggestions …

Hi, on your documentation (http://sktthemesdemo.net/documentation/fundraiser-documentation/#homepage-setup), you propose to use qTranslate X to translate the slider.
It works fine but qTranslate X announces that they stopped adapting their plugin to new WP versions (https://wordpress.org/plugins/qtranslate-x/)

I tried to use WPGlobus which seems very nice but obviously the shortcode [:en] is not working anymore.

Do you have another way to be able to translate the slider ?

Hi –
thanks for that – i changed it in the footer.php file and i see it works ok for a shortcode to add a button (in other words a small item) but not for what i wanted to put there.
The issue is that the text slider needs the whole of the width of the screen and at the moment some of the footer with is given over to ”Footre Text Link”.

Kindly edit header.php file, go to line number 197 and replace:

<div class="copyright-txt"><?php if( of_get_option('copytext',true) != ''){ echo of_get_option('copytext',true); }; ?> </div>

With:

<div class="copyright-txt"><?php if( of_get_option('copytext',true) != ''){ echo do_shortcode( of_get_option('copytext',true) ); } ?> </div>

Hi is there a way that I can add a shortcode into the copyright section at the bottom of the homepage? I would like to add a text slider there. I am working on my site offline at the moment so cannot share the url but i can share pics if needed

Hi,

1) the first set of issues i have is with the woo commerce shop page..

Ans: Done

2) the next issue i have is with the single product page.. i need a + and – radio button?
3) the next issue is that the home page section 4 and home section 6 codes has no CTA button.. i would love “ADD TO CART” button to be added to this section.

4) the next issue is with the home section 5. there is no option to add image to the shortcode provided for this section. i would love to add images to this section to show the way it is displayed in the demo.

5)lastly, i would like to know add mailchimp sign up form to the footer column area which is in html format. if i add it using widgets footer area, the footer column orientation is distorted.

Ans: Kindly add MailChimp code again in widgets area. Then we will solve it
