Hello,
We have recently purchased the SKT Fitness Pro Theme and are having an issue with the 4th section of the home page, the “Latest News” section displaying correctly. If we have show= set to “1”, everything is fine, but if we want to display 2 posts, they appear distorted and overlap each other. I have not changed any of the theme files or any code other than changing from “1” to “2” in the shortcode, so I believe this is a theme issue.

I have created a screencast video to show you what we are seeing. Can you please help us solve this issue?

I’m using the Girlie SKT Theme.

I’m trying to get my blog page (only one post so far) to show on the landing page. I’ve used the shortcode [latestposts show=”1″] and the section (section 4) is still blank.

I’d appreciate any guidance you’re able to provide.

Hi,

Kindly go to Media>Add New then click on the image you will find the URL of the image. just copy it, then go to the section where you want the image. in section you can find shortcode for the image which is icon=”image url”, paste your image URL there.

Why would you want to use Editor plugin? Use shortcodes ultimate plugin for content set up if you want.

Yes because shortcodes come from a single loop of posts. Running a loop within a loop will create an infinite loop so the page will keep on loading.

Hence the reason.

I’m trying to combine shortcodes withe no succes 🙁 Is there any reason for shortcodes not to be usable within shortcodes ?

I created a new section on my homepage that I want to display recent posts. I used the shortcode [recent-posts show=”4″]. A gray box appears above the post, how do I change this gray box into a thumbnail pic?

Hi,

From appearance>theme options>sections>you can set those 3 pages. Set featured image for each of these pages. Video will show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=310YGYtGLIM

For teams you can go to appearance>theme options>shortcodes: And then get the shortcode for team

And then paste it in page.

Now go to Left hand side Our team under testimonials and then add new title, description of team member and featured image

Below you can add position and social icons.

My client would like to have their most recent post appear as their ‘Doctor Advice’. I’ve tried to use the normal [display-posts] shortcode, but it renders as text, not as the post. What’s the recommended way to do this?

Hi,

Use Linkable HTML PHP Widget plugin via Plugins>Add New

And then once you do in Widget Area you get that widget.

Add it instead of text widget and use this code:

Sorry for the delayed response due to Diwali festival. 150 emails per day. So 750 emails for the 5 days we didn’t work. Still replying to all emails we received.

Okay so for the client logo link you have within the shortcode: link=”#”
Please replace # with actual link like http://www.google.com

For the partner area remove the link=”#” from within the shortcodes.

Hi,

Events shown in homepage are static. You have control to either change them or replace then with any event shortcode plugin like Events Calendar plugin.

Within Appearance>Theme Options>Sections>Section 3 you have the events listed whereby you can change them.

Good Morning Shri,

In the documentation of your theme you have provided short codes for the horizontal tab with it’s unique layout and colors. Shortcode Ultimate is something I have already tried for the vertical tab but it does not look right and does not match with the design of the pages. I need something similar with the horizontal tab menu for the vertical one like you have provided in your theme documentation.
