Hi,

I tried with “WPML Translate Shortcode”, but the fields in the slider settings take them as text not as code. So shortcodes will be displayed in the slider frontend, not translated to code and used… The problem is therefor not at wpml but in the theme-settings…

And no, wpml has no native shortcodes actually.

Hi,

I am not asking you to change the plugin. Similar to qTranslate X WPML also has shortcodes.

Ask them to provide the same and you can use them to change the language for theme options as well.

Hi

I’m trying to translate the texts in the slider on the homepage.
WPML Translate Shortcode helped me with the other texts in the sections.

But how can I do the translation of the slider? I use WPML for the rest of the site.

We don’t have category wise show on bakery template only 1 shortcode given in Appearance>Theme Options>Shortcodes

Hi,

I have added images and then assigned them in to categories. In the shortcode section i can place the following [portfolio cat=”Category Name”] into a full width page and change “Category Name” with the “Birthday Cakes”. However when the page loads, it loads all images within the gallery and not the birthday cakes on their own. I have tried using the category name (case sensitive) as well as category slug but still not getting the correct results.

Hi Makeba,

Just add the [latestposts show=”2″] shortcode in the HTML or Visual views of the Post or Page content editor.

Use full width page template and not gallery template then your shortcode should work fine.

Hi,

Shortcodes are read only. They are supposed to be used just as they are. Not sure why you would want to edit them. In case you understand how to build shortcodes you can create your own.

Or else try plugins like shortcodes ultimate which has more shortcodes however those are also not editable but can be used as they are.

You can use the column shortcodes like 3 column shortcode via Appearance>Theme Options>Shortcodes to make use of the similar style.

Our theme also supports shortcodes ultimate plugin which also gives you options like these and you can use that plugin and get similar style.

Kindly Paste this shortcode in text widget :

[contactform to_email=”[email protected]” title=”Contact Form”]

And drag & drop this text widget on right hand side Blog Post widget.

Hi,

Kindly add contact form 7 plugin instead then kindly go to Appearance>Widgets>Primary sidebar and add any widget like text widget and then add plugin shortcode within it.

So basically instead of our form now your contact form 7 widget form will show up which should send email.

Hi,

I’m trying to put in the contact form short code
“[contactform to_email=”[email protected]” title=”Contact Form”]”
into the right hand widget bar on a blog post. I assumed I could create a Text widget (within in Appearance > Widgets) and insert the shortcode, but it didn’t work. Is there any other way to do this. and make it work?
