    I can view the pages menu on a desktop computer on my home page but when I view the website on tablet or mobile the menu catagories have disappeared. ???

    Yeah sure kindly go to Pages>edit blog page>right hand side under page attributes select template: Blog or Blog Full Width or Blog left sidebar for layout options of Blog.
