How can I make use of the gallery category features?

I have split the pictures into several categories e.g.

    https://www.cforcakes.co.uk/gallerycategory/birthday-fun/
    https://www.cforcakes.co.uk/gallerycategory/adult-birthday/
    https://www.cforcakes.co.uk/gallerycategory/celebration/

How can the user choose which category they want e.g. a drop down list with

Birthday Fun – follow this link
Adult Birthday – follow this link
    Celebration – follow this link

Do I need to make a page and then add the links myself or is there a pre-built page which I can call and has this feature working

    a bit like search https://www.cforcakes.co.uk/?s=

I found search by luck! So I can do https://www.cforcakes.co.uk/?s=Animal to get Animal Cakes page

But I wondered if you have a more creative way as any new gallery categories would need a manual change to my page to add in e.g.

New Category – follow this link

I would expect the category to be added automatically.

    Thanks

    Hi,

This is done. Kindly check and confirm.

We have listed all categories into the gallery page.

    Regards,
    Dave

    Hi,

I see this and have done a similar change to the menu it is not ideal but does work.

I have also read the help page https://www.sktthemesdemo.net/documentation/skt-elementor-doc/#set-up-gallery

and tried the short code [photogallery filter=”true”] but it doesn’t quite work. It creates sub headings but each one of the sub headings just takes you to the # page so main gallery it doesn’t apply the filter so its 50% working.

Thanks for your help I will do a bit more checking.
