But I have created several other websites with the themes of yours.
The procedure always seemed a bit complicated to me. Each theme had to be edited differently.
Has anything changed? Or are all SKT themes now created in the same design?

Hi Nadja,

You have to download theme from my-account area and upload in your website.

Thereby you can use it.

Most of our themes are now using Elementor page builder and the framework also has changed from theme options to customizer.

We are redesigning old themes so they can’t be considered updates but fresh themes.

As for the old themes if any has updated the process remains same.

many thanks for the answer.
If I understood it right:
I download the new theme (or the update) and reinstall it as a theme?
Will the layout be preserved?
And then can I edit the website with Elementor? I also have a license for Elementor Pro.
Then editing would be much easier than 3 years ago.

Hi Nadja,

While we wanted to preserve the old themes data but the new ones created using Elementor are refreshed in terms of design as well so it is a new theme altogether.

As for the old themes all you need to do is download the new theme zip file, activate some other theme and upload and activate the new theme. (Be advised to please take a backup so that you can restore it if anything goes wrong).

Hi Chris,

sorry for this late answer.
I did exactly that. I changed the theme and re-downloaded Gardening SKT. But the homepage has disappeared. The special settings from the old theme gardening are gone. The other subpages seem ok. I have backed up first. What can I do to get the homepage? Or do I have to recreate them with the Elementor?

Hi,

You have to rebuild the home page. Inner pages will be set automatically.

No, not in all themes.

If you want to upgrade SKT Page Builder Themes to Elementor then you will have to re-build the home page.

Hello Chris,

thank you for help & patience.
I have now created the homepage with the Elementor Pro. But I have a problem. The page is not full-width. I have the layout to full width but it doesn’t work. I haven’t switched to the new version yet. I wanted to finish creating the new homepage first. Can you help. It is this url:

And how can I remove the header image from the homepage?
