Unable to proceed to next slide on home page

Hello,

I am using the nightclub theme for the website of comedyville.ca. I am using the built-in theme slider on the home page. The problem is that when the website loads, I cannot click on the next slider circle or the next slider button to proceed to the next slide. It seems to be locked. It only works when the first slide goes to the second one automatically. See attached photo of the links that I cannot use when the first slider loads.

Let me know if there is an option to move immediately from the first slide to the second.

Hi,

We checked, this is working fine.

If you want to change next slide? kindly click on white dots.

Actually, red one is active slide dot.

Hi Chris, the problem is when you load the website, on the first slide, hover the mouse over to the dot or flash, and you can’t click on it unless the second slide comes up. Then they are clickable. Can you confirm this at your end?

Hello, I am emailing you now. Apparently, SKT Event functionality is not compatible with PHP Versions 8.0 and above. I brought back PHP to 7.4 and it works now. Is there an update to bring the theme compatible with 8.0 and above?

We have solved the errors by removing/replacing deprecated codes.
