SKT Girlie theme – a few days ago I did a total once over on my site and all was great, now today I go to check it out and the slider won’t load. In Mozilla, IE, or mobile. Nothing has changed on my end in days… WHY?!

December 29, 2016 at 4:58 am #56796I have the same problem with www.goldenrulebbq52.com. It was working fine then I updated to WordPress 4.7 and the slider quit showing up. I have been in contact with SKT themes support but they haven’t fixed in problem in over a week.
December 29, 2016 at 5:05 am #56802Hi,
Kindly deactivate the plugins and check whether slider is working or not. Maybe one of your plugin conflict with the slider.
Regards,
DaveDecember 29, 2016 at 5:19 am #56805I have deactivated all of the plugins and that doesn’t help. I am running the same theme for another site but it’s not updated to WordPress 4.7 and it works fine. It seems that the slider in Restro is not compatible with 4.7.
December 29, 2016 at 12:00 pm #56836Thanks for the quick reply. I also tried deactivating all of my plug-ins and it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Any other suggestions?
December 29, 2016 at 12:05 pm #56839I just noticed – not only is the slider not working, the icons in the footer (for social media, and the contact info) are not loading either???
December 29, 2016 at 12:26 pm #56840I figured it out – it had something to do with my “Pinterest” social icon… I removed it and now it seems to be running great.
December 29, 2016 at 1:11 pm #56856Okay great 🙂
December 29, 2016 at 9:53 pm #56897A few hours later and I’m back at the same spot – after I launched the page to the public. I’m getting the load symbol again. It must be a cache issue? I’m being told the slider never loads at all on Chrome devices.
December 29, 2016 at 10:41 pm #56899I ran into the same problem. I had to deactivate all of the plugins for the slider to work properly.
December 29, 2016 at 11:55 pm #56902Thanks for the info Derek. The only plugins I have installed are Akismet and Jetpack… did you deactivate literally every plugin?
I’ve confirmed that the slider never works on Chrome browsers – desktop or mobile.
December 30, 2016 at 12:35 am #56905Yes I had to deactivate all plugins. I’m not sure why certain plugins aren’t compatible with SKT themes. Very confused! Good luck!

BradJanuary 2, 2017 at 7:29 am #57076Hi Amber,
This issue was resolved from our end. Kindly check and confirm. Jetpack plugin conflict with the slider.
