SLIDER ANIMATION TROUBLESHOOTING?

Is there any troubleshooting we can do if the animations stop working for the front page slider?

SKT – ACTOR.

I love how FOLD looks and it was working great after I set it like a week ago. But then, starting today … it just stopped? Now, instead of an animation, a weird box appears at the top … and the photos just change, no animation.

I miss it… would love to know if there are any things to try to fix it.

Hi,

Kindly check for conflicting plugins disable all of the plugins and see if it works.

If its working fine then some plugin is conflicting. Activate them one by one to find out which one is causing problems.

I hadn’t installed any extra plugins, but I went ahead and tested this out anyway. Even with EVERYTHING deactivated, the animation still does not work.

One of the things I was working on when the animation stopped working… I was using the below shortcode on a separate page.

[posts-grid show="-1" cat="" excerptlength="24"]

It’s a shortcode from your other themes (I think a theme that uses SKT Builder and not Elementor), one that was not included in the demo content for this one (SKT-ACTOR, which uses Elementor). The shortcode DID work though… But I’m wondering if using the shortcode somewhere else on the site could be responsible somehow?

Hi,

Kindly edit frontpage/slider.php file, go to line number 14 and make below changes:

running: true,
paused: false,
stop: false,

I made these changes. They didn’t have an impact at first, but now that I’ve waited a couple days and just replaced the images, it’s working again!
