Hey,
So saving data is becoming a real issue. Like really bad things are happening. I am updating elements within the theme. And they are completely ignored. To a point it doesn’t matter you enter into it. It sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t.
For example: Trying to save a YouTube clip within one of the Home Sections shows it working correctly, then when you save it it deletes the embeding.
This also occurs for text based items as well!
What’s going on?

Its a customizer issue actually but let me help you with this. Whenever you post it in the textual mode go to the visual mode and then save and close and on top click on save and publish to represent the final change.
This should work in most cases.

Yup, I have tried that, it produces the same results. I have literally typed out the content by hand rather then copy and paste, same result. Needless to see I’m not even sure how to proceed.
Any other ideas?

Unfortunately, this is still not working correctly. I have tried embedding the youtube clip via code i.e. an iFrame. I have also tried embedding it via the FCK editor. Both produce the same result which is, it shows the preview in the SKTTheme and you can clearly see the youtube video however, when you publish it, it fails to show on browser.
I have flushed cached and tried new browsers. Both resulting in the same issue.
Let me know if you require any further information.

I’m doing this under Home Section 3, not that should make a difference as I’m making the assumption that the code is dynamically generated.

September 20, 2016 at 8:30 am #47009Hi Guys,
I have done a little investigation, I’m unsure how your theme pulls it together but I think it may be stripping the URL in some manner resulting in it not working from the FCK editor.
Clearly an issue of some form.

September 20, 2016 at 10:53 am #47035Hi Jeremy,
For the youtube videos you can use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/iframe/
You have to use its shortcode
[iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/4qsGTXLnmKs" width="100%" height="500"]
in the sections or in the pages.I have installed this plugin in your site and added a video in homepage section.
Let me know if its work for you.

BradSeptember 20, 2016 at 8:16 pm #47082Hi Brad,
Excellent. Okay so basically don’t use the built in FCK editor for embedding of any kind. Use the iFrame instead.
I can confirm that works. On to the next issue. Almost done!
Thanks Brad.
