I purchased your Charity theme for my website jamieleefnd.org and it has worked well except for some defaults that are difficult to change.

The footer default displays a newsletter signup title for Footer Title 3 (I’ve figured out how to change the title and description) with an email input below. I can’t find where that default email input is stored or how to use/access it. I currently have a mail chimp account and am using two contact plugins (optin forms and Contact Form 7). Both are connected to my mail chimp account. Is there a way for the footer default email input to either connect to my mail chimp account or replace that input with one of the two plugins I already have connected to mail chimp? I’ve changed the newsletter signup for Footer Title 3 to read “Signup as a Facebook Volunteer” and changed the description to read “We need volunteers to share our Facebook Page posts with Facebook groups and friends”. I just need to have an email input and capture that goes to my mail chimp account. How do I do this?

Also, is it possible to have the Facebook icon “f” appear after the “Follow Us” on the footer so that I don’t end up with an extra line in the footer? I am only using Facebook as a social media connection at this point.

I also have a question regarding in-text links. I have a link on the word “here” in the last paragraph of my front page. If I put the mouse over the word “here” it shows green for the link, but otherwise does not give any indication there is an active link in the text. I don’t see any way under basic theme options to change this. What am I missing?

    Thanks
    Bob

Additionally, my menu background seems to be defaulted to white and I would like to change that to a different color but can’t find where to do that in the theme options, menus, or customize.

Send us WordPress admin details via email: [email protected]

And we can integrate the footer newsletter to mailchimp or optin form plugin or contact form 7.

Also we can solve the other issue.

    Regards,
    Shri

I see the in-text link highlighted and the Facebook “f” on the same line as follow us, but the background color on my menu is still white (though you moved the menu down to the bottom of the header-which I don’t want. Also, the email in the footer does not go to mail chimp (also, my Contact Form 7 is setup to give a confirmation message when submit is clicked and that a doesn’t happen either).

You will see that the 3rd column in the footer has the title: SIGNUP AS A FACEBOOK VOLUNTEER, with a description below saying, “We need volunteers to share our Facebook Page posts with Facebook groups and friends”

Below the title and description is the email submit window and button. When someone inputs their email and hits SUBMIT the page changes to a format listing all posts on one page, but there is no notification message returned that the email was accepted and I can’t find the email stored in any database in your template (I don’t know if there is even a database for it).

I do have the Contact Form 7 plugin with the Mail Chimp extension that notifies the visitor their email has been received when they hit SUBMIT and also sends the email info to a database at Mail Chimp. You can see how this works by clicking on the “Volunteer” button on the right side of the header (to the right of “Donate”). When you click on “Volunteer” it takes you to a page that prompts an input of name and email. While it would be nice to have a name and email window in the footer, but I haven’t asked for the added function of a name because it is not critical.

What is critical is a notification message for the submitter that their email has been received and will be acted upon when the visitor hits SUBMIT, and for the email information sent to Mail Chimp Facebook Volunteer database. This information is found in my contact plugin for the Facebook Volunteer under the Messages and MailChimp Tags.

Finally, I changed the website in the 1st column of the website and now it wraps to another line instead of staying on the same line as “Website:” Is it possible to have Website:cureinitiative.org all on one line?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Great! The cure initiative.org is on the same line as the website: and I have both name and email showing in the footer and connected to MailChimp and providing a message.

Thank you. I have one more change I would like to request. With the extra line from the name in the email input on the footer. The “Follow Us f” drops really low.

Could you possibly put the “Follow Us f” in the first column of the footer under the “Website:cureinitiative.org”? That would give the footer better balance. Thanks!
