Remove gap under slider

How do i remove gap under slider on the girly theme.
my web site is http://www.onethingisneeded.com
i want it to look like the default theme where the 4 boxes overlaps the slider.

also why is it that when i use the txt logo at top on free version it has lines but does not on the pro version? how do i add them back. the pro is supposed to be better.

Kindly add this in appearance>theme options>basic settings>Custom CSS box:

.slider-main{min-height:auto;}
