Portfolio/Gallery display options.

Dear sir,

few days ago I bought the Panaroma Pro Version and I asked from you to do the installation because  I couldn’t do it myself. You did the job very well, but the gallery and the portofolio sections were emty. I think something is missing and I can’t fix it myself. You had all the passwords and the usernames you need for that. Could you solve my problem?

Also, do you know any plug in which can help me with multilingual options and cooperate with the Panaroma Theme?

but I can’t still find the way to create a gallery.

In the gallery section I can only create the name and nothing else.

The appearence of the page you created me, has many differencies from that of the demo http://sktthemesdemo.net/panoramapro/portfolio/.

Could you do something more in purpose to be more easier for me to use the benefits of the current theme?

Indeed, Guys, it seems that the way you propose to make gallery won’t work fine.

Or, maybe documentation needs some work to explain us how to build, and CONTROL working gallery?

I can’t build gallery according help and your advice. Please help. I’m pretty sure its not biggy…

Okay step by step instructions for photo gallery:

1. First Go to WordPress admin panel and then Click on Photo Galleryhttp://sktthemesdemo.net/documentation/skt-white-doc/assets/img/portfolio.jpg

And then Click on Add New.

2. Once clicked on Add New Add the title and then just set up a featured image just like shown here: http://sktthemesdemo.net/documentation/skt-white-doc/assets/img/portfolio.jpg

Once done select any category or add any category from the category area in this very page. And click on Update.

3. To add another image again click add new and follow the first 2 steps as given above.

So for every new image title and 1 featured image is to be added and it is to be selected into any category you wish.

Now once this is set up.

Use shortcodes of the gallery anywhere in any page:

Portfolio with Thumbnail: [portfolio-thumbnail cat=”Category Name”]
Portfolio with Slider: [portfolio-slider cat=”Category Name”]
Portfolio with Lightbox: [portfolio cat=”Category Name”]

So… you want to tell me, that I MUST create something you call “Gallery” for EVERY single one image I want to put into one gallery?

And if I want to publish 100 pictures, I MUST do it 100 times?

Dude, this is ridiculous…

BTW none of the above shortcuts allows me to make a gallery like you showed on demo page for Panaroma Pro theme…

Hi,

There is a reason why we didn’t have multiple image upload etc and create a plugin like thing. Because this will make the theme vulnerable to security.

Hence instead we have done this.

Understand this is not good.

Kindly consider use of any of the following plugins:

What I dislike is that portfolio on demo-page works well, and on my page won’t.

Hey sorry about the instructions previously i missed one point. While using the shortcode of gallery please apply page template Gallery. Then it works just fine.

By the way updated the theme and given you re-access.

Kindly download the theme from here:
sktthemes.net/my-account/ (use forgot password in case you forgot)

Theme Instructions after download:

Kindly visit Appearance>Themes>Activate some other theme for the time being.

Then click on old Pro theme and delete it. Don’t worry deleting the theme doesn’t delete its settings at all.

Then visit Appearance>Themes>Add New and upload the zip you just downloaded of the new theme.

And Activate.

That’s it. Hope you enjoy the updated latest theme.
