plugins

I recently purchased Spirited Pro theme and it will not allow me to add plugins. I have no “ADD” button.

It says it recommends I add Shortcodes Ultimate but when I try to add it fails.

I need to install the following plugins for this site. (Spirited Pro theme) Is this possible?

Membee Login Plugin
WordPress Access Control Plugin
Capability Manager Plugin

I do not see an Add button to add anything under plugins.

Hi Robin,

Its a User Role Restrictions issue. It seems that you don’t have permission to install plugins.

How do I fix. I have logged in as the main site admin and still can’t install. I now have the “Add” button but all plugins fail. I get the error message….Installation failed: Could not create directory.

This did not help me since….

1. I am listed as an admin. I have logged in as the other admin and still no luck.

2. As far as I know I am self hosted. At least I am paying for hosting. How would I know for sure?

Hi Robin,

We are not sure about this. But again this is not a Theme issue. We are supposed to be assisting you in anything related to the WordPress theme that we have sold to you. This is more of a WordPress support request in general or related to installation problems which you can sort it out with your hosting if they have some file permission problem.
