Number of words before Readmore Button

in my categroy view or blog page i see all the blog post in a list. How can i change the number of words before the readmore button. I just see 20 words, thats too less.

I ve found a solution, fixing the core-functions.php site

//Custom Excerpt Length
function complete_excerptlength_teaser($length) {
    //oldValue 20
    return 50;
}
