I’m trying to add the ability of selling on my wife’s website but I’d rather not add that many pages across the menu at the top of the site (laurieshort.com) and wondered if I could make them appear as a drop down menu under “Books” (I might change it to “Products”) when you hover over it or click on it?
Whenever I try to add any of the Woocommerce pages they also move from the top of the head down into the middle of the slider. Is that because of the Site Title location and not having enough room across the top.
Thanks for any help and let me know if Woocommerce works on your site or if I should try something else like Shopify?
Thanks again,

Can you show us a sample page where this would happen?
I believe you don’t have slider on all pages so shouldn’t be any problem for inner pages.

DaveMay 23, 2016 at 5:35 pm #34591Hi Dave,
I actually do have the slider on all the pages so it shows up on all of them. Is there a way to attach a picture here? If not I can setup the extra pages on the menu for you to see temporarily and then take it down after you see how it looks. Basically, when I add those pages to the menu they drop down into almost the middle of the slider pictures. Maybe if I change the size of the font they will fit but I’d rather not show all of them either way but maybe I have to in this theme.
Thanks,

DaveMay 25, 2016 at 5:30 am #34803Hi Dave,
I have added Contact and Shop to the menu so you can see what it does to the position in the slider.
As I mentioned in the first email, I’d like to have Books or Shop have a drop down of Account and Cart or something like that. I’d rather not have it on the main navigation menu page.
Thanks,
JeromeMay 26, 2016 at 2:05 pm #34981I’d really appreciate you looking at this as soon as possible. The pages aren’t set up to be viewed or used so they make the website look all jacked up.
As soon as you see what I am talking about I need to change it back so those pages can’t be viewed. My wife just posted a blog so people will be going to it while it looks like crap.
Please look as soon as possible!
JeromeMay 27, 2016 at 12:16 pm #35124Hi Jerome,
Kindly post the exact URL which appears like crap and we can check the issue with it.

ShriMay 27, 2016 at 1:00 pm #35134As I mentioned in the first post, the URL is laurieshort.com. The navigation menu at the top, when I add more pages, moves the list down into the middle of the slider. Normally it’s at the very top and to the right but I’m guessing it runs out of room when I add more than 6 pages.
I’d rather not add more pages across the top but have a drop down under “Books”, if that’s possible
May 27, 2016 at 1:30 pm #35149You can have drop down under books via appearance>menus.
