My Drop down menu is not working for Minimal Blog

I have installed minimal blog theme on my website and i have a drop down menu on my top header bar and it is not working when I am in my home page. I have to navigate to other pages in order for the drop down to show.

Please hwlp me fix this.

My website is http://glhmi.org/family/ and the menu with sub-menu is SUBMIT. Please help me

Hi,

Kindly go to Appearance >> Customize >> Basic >> Scroll down to find Custom CSS and paste there:

.home .header .container { overflow:visible;}

It worked.

One more question. I wanted to remove dates of my post on my footer and I cannot find where in Theme Editor.
Please let me know how can I remove the date from Links Post.
