    Dragging and dropping the text widget only removes whatever text is there. It does not remove the column entirely. How do you completely remove columns from the footer, so that when you only have to active columns they are not presented as two columns to the far left and a big empty space beside them where the other two empty columns are.

    Simply setting the footer to a 2-column format does not work.
