Inserting photos into a Gallery or Album.

I can follow your instructions on how to set up gallery and album pages but am completely mystified as to how they actually get any images into them. I know how to make a WP gallery but nothing is mentioned other than categories. My photos aren’t categorised. I must be missing something really basic here.

I also want to show only images from one gallery category on a certain page. How can I set “filter” in the gallery shortcode to show only images from one specific category?

Portfolio with Slider: [portfolio-slider cat=”Category Name”]
Portfolio with Lightbox: [portfolio cat=”Category Name”]

Hi, I’m having the same problem. How do I get images into a gallery or album?

After spending much of the day trying to get this working I finally fixed it. The issue turned out to be the Jetpack Portfolio plug-in. When I deactivated the plug-in everything sprang into life.
