Thank you for your reply but I do not want the images at a width of 640px. I was asking how to change this setting because I would like them to be full width. Thank you

    Hi,

Kindly go to Appearance>>Theme Options>>Layout Settings>>Custom CSS Box:

    Add this code there:

    .blog-post .aligncenter { width:95% !important;}

    Regards,
    Dave

    Hi guys,

Similar question for me but the code above didn’t help me.

The background image as well as the start page sliders don’t scale proportionally but shrink unproportionally when I scale the browser window. Like this, the photo looks weird (car looks like a toy car 🙂 ).
What do I have to change to have the images full size and scale them proporionally when width changes?
For the slider I’d like to have it same like on http://coastmountainoverland.com/ and for the background image as well and it should follow on scrolling.

    Hi Dave,
Shri wrote me he changed something and it basically looks good so far, thank you!
It would be interesting what has been changed so that I know for future pages.

Is it possible to set a min width e.g. 320px where the image should no longer scale down but be cropped from the right to avoid the black background in portrait format and have the left part of the image as big as possible?
Same for Image slider and background image?

see the black background (space between menu and image / image & footer) that should be avoided:

    Thank you!

Hi Dave, unfortunately not – now it is scaling again and the car looks squeezed. I would like it to scale proportionally and once it reaches a minimum size it should be cropped from the right instead of scaling unproportionally.

    Hi Dave,
seems we have a misunderstanding there – maybe a bit hard to explain. The problem exists for the slider and for the background. The car should never be squezed or scaled unproportionally.

Can you set it same as like for http://coastmountainoverland.com/ – there it looks all good when changing formats and resolutions – first it scales then it crops from the side.
    thank you!
