image in specail field or featured image

Using The Art theme.

In documentations is written: use special field to put images in header of page using following code: <img src="http://domain/path/imagefile.jpg" /> But this is not working, no image shows up. Is this a bug in documentation?

However using the featured image of wordpress works. Is there a preferable way which method to use?

Hi,

The website URL is http://www.bodystressrelease.fr/wp/
I made 3 pages, 1 with image in featured field, 1 with image in special field with the code: <img src="http://www.bodystressrelease.fr/wp/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/afrika-438.jpg" /> and 1 without image (still showing the place where the image should come if there is one.

The image is on http://www.bodystressrelease.fr/wp/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/afrika-438.jpg and if I point browser to it then it show, so URL is valid.

Hi,

No, this one is not replyd. If I place image in extra field, it does not show. Only if I place image ad featured image then it show. According to the documentation it is also possible in extra field.

However I dont know wich one is preferable.

Maybe related to my other question where Google map does not show up in extra field?

The images sizes also very good when I resize browser. Much better than featured image. Nice!!
