    My footer shows a blank grey bar, then a black bar. The black bar shows the footer copyright text and the Footre Text Link. The map, the footer address, and the social icons (and more) don’t show up at all. How do I control what shows up? Can I control the height of the lighter grey bar, since it has nothing in it?

    Hi Christian,

    It seems that you have added blank text widget in footer widgets. Kindly go to Appearance>>Widget>>Footer widget 1,2,3 etc and remove the blank text widget from there.

    You are right! That’s exactly what happened. But how can I turn off the upper footer (with the contact info, the links, etc.) if I wanted to?

    Kindly show us the website URL and we can give you a CSS code which will remove the footer at once.
